Are there pre-existing conditions that interfere with microblading?+
Yes. Microblading is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding (treatment is possible while breastfeeding, though anesthetic is not), have keloids or a tendency to keloid, birthmarks or moles in the area, or diabetes. A doctor's note is required for serious diseases such as cancer, epilepsy and autoimmune disorders, circulatory disorders, and any bleeding disorders. Also avoid if you take blood thinning medication, are on Accutane or strong retinoids (wait 6 months after treatment ends), have skin disease symptoms or irritation in the area, have had Botox or Dysport in the last 2 months, have a broken capillary in the brow area, or have a sunburn. Wait 3 days after waxing and 2 weeks after chemical peels.
How are eyelash extensions applied? Do they damage my natural lashes?+
Mink lashes are attached individually to your own lashes using a special adhesive, 1mm away from the skin. The application of extensions is no less damaging than applying mascara.
How long do eyelash extensions last?+
Mink eyelash extensions last up to 4–6 weeks. To maintain proper care and longevity, we recommend coming in every few weeks for a fill and using our lash cleanser between visits.
Can I use an eyelash curler and mascara?+
It is not recommended. Mascara interferes with the adhesive and a curler will damage the extensions.
How are eyelash extensions removed?+
Our eyelash perfectionist removes them using a remover made specifically for eyelash extensions. It does not pull your natural lashes. Otherwise, lashes shed over time with your natural lash shedding cycle.
How do I care for my lashes between visits?+
Avoid extreme heat, swimming and steam rooms for the first 48 hours. Use oil-free cleansers when removing eye make-up, as oil dissolves the adhesive. After showering, pat lashes dry with a tissue and groom carefully with an eyelash comb. We recommend our Be Gorgeous Eyelash Cleanser to safely remove make-up, dirt and oil and add longevity to your mink lashes.

Respecting everyone's time
Cancelling & Rescheduling
Your appointment is reserved especially for you. We understand that schedule adjustments occur, therefore we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. 50% of services booked will be charged if it is within the 24 hour time frame. No call / no shows will be charged 100% of services booked. Excessive schedule mishaps may impact your ability to be scheduled with us in the future.
Late Policy
There is a 10 minute grace period for all appointments. If you feel you will be at least 10 minutes late, please call so that we are aware. If you are late, we cannot guarantee that you will be serviced that day. If we can still accommodate you, a late fee starting at $10 up to half of services booked will be added. Clients with a history of tardiness or no shows may be required to pay a deposit to book future appointments.
Visitor & Child Safety
We are unable to accommodate extra people accompanying you to your appointment. For safety purposes, no children may accompany you while you have a service or within the studio. We love children, but we cannot ensure their safety in a professional environment and we don't want to compromise the relaxation of our other clients. Extra guests will result in cancelling or rescheduling your appointment and 50% of services booked will be charged to the card on file.

If you are not satisfied with your service, we ask that you contact Be Gorgeous Studio within 48 hours of that service.
